Imation's SuperDisk LS-120 internal drive is an affordable way to upgrade your system to a high-capacity storage solution. It can store 120MB of data, including images, photos, videos, and multimedia files, allowing you to free up space on your hard drive, backup your valuable files, folders, and applications, and transport large files from the office to your home or workgroup. It reads up to 27X faster than a floppy drive and is backwards compatible with current 3.5-inch floppy technology, so you don't have to throw away all those diskettes you own. Like tape drives and hard drives, the SuperDisk LS-120 uses an error correction code, which enables the drive to pack data closer together and accurately recover it. It also uses the same track identification as conventional floppies, except it contains a defect management table on each disk and error correction capabilities. This error correction allows the SuperDisk LS-120 to identify errors, such as small imperfections in the data or disk, and then correct them.
