MiLAN's Fast Ethernet Media Converters provide maximum dexterity for interconnecting and managing various media and rate types. The ClassicConverter, C2000 and S3000 Series of Fast Ethernet converters provide an ideal solution for switching UTP to fiber and multi-mode fiber to single mode, either within rack-mounted Media Conversion Systems or as standalone units.Available fiber distances range from 2km in multi-mode up to 100km in single mode, flexibly linking distant networks. An optional SNMP management module in the Media Conversion Systems allows monitoring or configuration of modules on an individual basis, allowing system administrators to remotely verify link and status information.
